Venice is a city in northeastern Italian Republic and thus the capital of the Venetia region. It is sited on a gaggle of 117 small islands that area unit separated by canals and joined by bridges. The name is derived from the normal Veneti folks that populous the region by the tenth century before Christ. The city was historically the capital of the Republic of Venezia.
